Meet Charles (aka Charlie), a 2 year old petite Beagle mix. Charlie absolutely loves his people! He does take some time to warm up initially, so he’ll need slow introductions.
Though Charlie can be anxious with new people at first, within hours he will be on your lap asking for belly rubs! He loves to cuddle with his people and get belly scratches. He was previously bonded with a cat and has done well on test introductions with a dog-friendly cat.
His foster mom says he is working on his leash training and learning commands like sit. Charlie is crate trained, and his foster mom says he is also potty trained, though initially he has marked in new areas. He does need some time to get used to new pups, and may bark at first meeting. Charlie is a medium energy dog, so he does like to exercise and run around his foster’s backyard.
Note that Charlie would not be a good fit for an apartment as his breed is more vocal.
Charles’ adoption donation is $210, he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
