Sweet girl Mocha is home!

This cutie joins another HVR alumni on over 8 acres of land, an older fur sibling, and a mom and dad that can’t wait to spoil her! She is already settling in so well, and we are so happy for her and her new family!

The amazing adoption story you’ve all been waiting for - Max has found his forevers 

This sweet boy came to us with suspected chemical burn after a concerned citizen connected him to rescue. Max was well-loved but his family was not in a position to help or care for him long-term. 

He went through light therapy to help him heal, and has since undergone surgery to correct his cherry eye, just in time to meet his new adoring parents! His foster family did an amazing job getting him to this point and we can’t thank them enough  (See his progress photos below!)

Max’s new parents are both retired and ready to accept all of his hugs and kisses (which he loves to give!) They rescued their last pup who they loved through thick and thin, until the beautiful age of 17! We are so excited for Max and his amazing new family!

Adorable Mike has found the best home! He now has 2 fur siblings and 3 human siblings to keep him entertained! One of his fur siblings has just been waiting for the perfect play mate and can’t wait to have all the play time with this sweet boy

Some days in rescue are really tough, but then there’s days like today where our hearts are so full. 

You may remember Maya, our sweet special needs girl, surrendered due to spinal issues, which led her to have limited mobility.  

We knew there would be a perfect family out there for Maya, but we couldn’t have imagined just how perfect that family would be. 

Maya’s new family has an acre of land, family members home at all times of the day to keep her company, and an adorable 10-yr old pug named Mugzy for her to snuggle up to. Maya’s family are huge proponents of rescue and often adopt senior dogs () but something about Maya tugged at their hearts and they just knew she belonged with them. 

We are SO incredibly happy for this sweet girl & her new loving family!
