Maya
Some days in rescue are really tough, but then there’s days like today where our hearts are so full.
You may remember Maya, our sweet special needs girl, surrendered due to spinal issues, which led her to have limited mobility.
We knew there would be a perfect family out there for Maya, but we couldn’t have imagined just how perfect that family would be.
Maya’s new family has an acre of land, family members home at all times of the day to keep her company, and an adorable 10-yr old pug named Mugzy for her to snuggle up to. Maya’s family are huge proponents of rescue and often adopt senior dogs () but something about Maya tugged at their hearts and they just knew she belonged with them.
We are SO incredibly happy for this sweet girl & her new loving family!
Happy Furevers Maya!
Maryann (Now Calle)
The Gilligan’s Island bunch have all been adopted! No more storms for these cuties!
Happy Furevers to Mary Ann (now Calle)!
Marley
Marley’s story reminds us why rescue is so important - and completely warms our hearts.
Marley came to us in rough shape, in need of a lot of medical care. He took some time to warm up before accepting pets and affection, but once he got comfortable this boy really blossomed.
His new parents were in love at first sight & they couldn’t wait to meet this sweet boy. They were looking for a companion for their 8 year old pup Gus after his fur friend passed this year, and Marley was a perfect match. They are retired and ready to spoil this needy boy with all the cuddles he demands
Marley became his best self - and a totally different dog - in his foster home. He is a perfect example of the amazing impact fostering can have!
Happy Furevers Mr Marley!
Molly
Our sweet Molly (aka Chunk, aka Meatball
) came to us after she was found as a stray and taken to the shelter to search for her owners, who never came forward. She charmed us all with her adorable snorts and irresistible chonk!
She completely hit it off with her new mom and fur sibling, immediately playing and entertaining us all!
Happy furevers Molly!
Mia
Mia came to us very scared after being surrendered by her owners who had her for 11 years.
After a groom and vet visit she was in the best of spirits and ready for her furever home. This couple lost their pup and was looking to welcome a senior into their lives. It was a match made in heaven and the best way to close out 2021!
