Rex’s new family are strong supporters of rescue, and after their beloved pup of 13 years passed last year, they gave themselves some time to mourn before looking to adopt again. 

Rex (now Luca) is a lucky boy, and we know he will be so loved and treated as a member of the family - just look at this boy’s sweet smile! 

Thank you to his family for not only choosing rescue, but for recognizing that the love of a rescue pup is so special!

 A Foster Success! 

Jethro came to us scared of his own shadow, in desperate need of some TLC.

His foster parents already had a sweet labradoodle - Charlie - that they adopted under similar circumstances. When Jethro (“Jet” for short) met timid Charlie, they immediately hit it off, and Jet came right out of his shell! His foster mama knew right away that Jet was the missing piece in their family. 

We are so excited to congratulate Jet’s new family on their first foster fail - after 2 years of fostering with HVR! We are so so happy for all of you, and know that Jet & Charlie have the best days ahead.
