Maizie is a beautiful almost 3-year-old Labradoodle looking for a patient and loving home to help her continue blossoming.

Maizie is both crate and potty trained, and she’s had zero accidents in her foster home! While she doesn't yet signal when she needs to go out, she has done great with regular backyard breaks. She’s also shown great house manners—no chewing or destructive behavior at all.

Leash walking is a new concept for Maizie, and she’s still building trust and confidence on the leash. She isn’t really reactive or a big puller, but loud noises and unfamiliar environments can make her nervous. It’s important to note that Maizie shows no aggression—just timidity and uncertainty as she learns to trust. She would thrive with a calm, reassuring walking routine and a patient adopter who can help her feel safe.

Maizie is a bit shy with new people and will bark at unusual noises, but she’s simply trying to understand her surroundings. She’s been slowly warming up in her foster home, showing playful bursts of energy (hello, zoomies!) and enjoying her time lounging in bed with a pile of pillows.

She loves the company of other dogs and has formed a sweet, playful bond with the puppy in her foster home. She hasn’t yet shown much interest in toys (most likely never exposed prior to rescue), but that will likely change as she grows more comfortable.

Maizie will need a home that understands slow introductions and can offer her the space, support, and love she needs to feel secure. With time and patience, Maizie will reward you with gentle affection and a heart full of gratitude from saving her from her prior life.
