We are so excited to share the first adoption of the new year with everyone - sweet boy Brodie! 

This adorable boy landed himself an amazing home - with his foster! 

Brodie’s fosters began fostering with HVR last year, opening their home to pups in need, as they themselves lost their best friend (Lenna), after a long medical battle. They weren’t quite ready to adopt again, but wanted to help by fostering (and that they did!) They have been amazing, dedicated fosters, and we couldn’t be happier that they found love again. Brodie has already had a birthday party in his furever home, he is already so loved! We just know Lenna is celebrating with us over the bridge

Sweet boy Oscar is home!

This adorable boy has absolutely hit the jackpot and we couldn’t be happier for him!

Oscar found his way into rescue when he was reported wandering the streets in a local community, secured after the diligent efforts of a member of the community. Timid and shy at first, it took a little time for Oscar to come out of his shell. While we maintained hope that he had loving owners looking for him, the stray hold came and went with no owners in sight  

While Oscar’s beginnings are heartbreaking, we are so happy to share that those days are long behind him! His new family was so happy to welcome this boy home that they had an adorable welcome sign ready for him, and a home fully stocked with everything he could possibly need. On his first night in his furevers, he cuddled up in his new bed and fell fast asleep. Oscar knows he’s safe and his days fending for himself are long behind him 

We are so grateful for families like Oscar’s, as well as Oscar’s amazing foster who made it possible to save him, and write him a wonderful new story!
