Benji

Our sweet Benji crossed the rainbow bridge Friday September 18th 2020. He felt so much love in his short time with us. Thank you to our community for stepping up and bringing him home cooked food and special thanks to his amazing foster mama. It takes someone with an extraordinary heart to be a hospice foster and she definitely showed him a beautiful life! heart

Benny

It is with a heavy heart we share that Benny (previously Jude) has crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Benny was adopted in May 2020 and landed with the absolute best family he could have asked for. Though he faced several health challenges, his family fought hard for him and settled for nothing less than the best for this sweet boy.

Unfortunately Benny lost his battle after surgery complications this week, and his family had to say a very tough goodbye. They loved him fiercely and fought so hard for him, giving this boy the best chance. His Mom called him her “light in the dark” after suffering the loss of her dear pup Riley prior.

Thank you to your wonderful family for being everything you needed and more, giving you the best life and showing you the love you truly deserved. Rest easy sweet Benny heart

Biggie

It is with great sadness that we share that our sweet senior boy Biggie crossed over the rainbow bridge broken heart

Biggie came to us with a long list of medical issues. During his month with us, he received extensive veterinary care and an overwhelming amount of love from his amazing foster mom.

We'd like to thank our caring and attentive vet team, his amazing foster home, and our faithful community for being a part of Biggie's journey. His final time on this earth was filled with affection, treats, and the best naps, knowing he was finally safe and loved.

Rest easy sweet Biggie, aka Biggie smalls heart

Bo (previously Wally)

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that Bo (previously Wally) crossed the rainbow bridge. It take a very special family to adopt a senior and Bo sure did find them. His adopters gave him everything in the 6 months he was part of their family. He had a few grumpy days, some hard days but most days were full of cuddles, smiles and lots of love. Bo you made a huge impact on all of us. Run free with no pain and know that you are loved and will be missed dearly.

Thank you to your wonderful family for being willing to adopt a senior and provide you everything you needed heart

Bruno

It is with great sadness we share the passing of Bruno (previously Nitro), an HVR alumni.

Bruno had an incredibly tough start to life, as he was one of the siblings rescued from a drain pipe in 2021. These pups were understandably timid at first, and took some time to warm up to their people - but they were so incredibly special, and once they bonded they loved their people to pieces.

Bruno was no exception, and he brought his family so much joy in his time with them. His family gave him the best life, a far cry from where he started  heart

Though his time was cut short by illness, his family fought so hard for him, and gave him the absolute best life. Our heart are with his family as they grieve the loss of such an amazing companion.

Rest in Peace sweet Bruno  heart
